Celebrations of Independence Day can't get better and melodious than this in Pakistan.
Dubai-based band 'Chronicles of Khan' is all set to perform for their fans in Karachi on 14 August. The musical event is named 'Azadi Rocks Music Festival' and it aims at spreading the spirit of freedom among Pakistanis.
One of the organisers of the event Sara Chapra, partner at CKO Events in Karachi thinks that it is very important to bring all Pakistanis together and make them understand the true meaning of 'Azadi' or freedom. "This event is not just about music and entertaining the masses. It means much more."
On asking how they decided to rope in the band, she said: "We first met them some six months ago and thought how meaningful it would be to have a UAE-based band of Pakistan origin to perform in our event 'Azadi Rocks'. They added a new flavour and dimension to the Pakistani music scene and more importantly they represent Pakistani talent that is flourishing overseas."
