Sad news for beach lovers in Dubai. 
The Dubai Municipality has posted on its official Instagram account regarding ladies days being cancelled, stating: "Dear visitors, we apologise for the inconvenience caused in stopping the dedicated days for ladies in Al Mamzar Park (Mondays and Wednesdays)."   

They also added: "And the inconvenience caused in closing Chalets in Al Mamzar Park from 16/07/2018 for two consecutive months due to maintenance and to improve our provided service. 
The number to contact for the two announcements is 800900. 
Female residents responded with bewilderment and outrage, asking the municipality, "Where do we go now and on what basis were the days stopped?"
Quite a few people replied with comments regarding how expensive the the entry fee was to begin with, let alone the refreshments.
