Dubai Print Award to cover GCC region

DUBAI — The Dubai Print Award, the previous editions of which were restricted to only those working in the UAE, will now cover the entire GCC region. This was announced by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and the Printing and Publishing Group (PPG) yesterday.

Winners in 21 categories — including the Bahrain Award, Kuwait Award, Oman Award, Qatar Award, KSA Award and UAE Award — will be announced at the awards ceremony on January 15, 2008, PPG Chairman Ahmad bin Hassan Al Shaikh told a Press conference.

“The Dubai Chamber of Commerce is keen to endorse all the initiatives launched by the business groups which operate under the umbrella of the chamber, including the PPG. As the awards are aimed at encouraging those working in the printing sector, Dubai Chamber is happy to support them,” said Nuha Safar, Director, Corporate Communication and International Affairs at Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
