Dubai Properties, a leading Dubai-based real estate master developer and asset manager distributed over 6,600 meals at staff accommodation in Al Quoz, Dubai Investment Park and Muhaisnah. Demonstrating the company's solidarity with and appreciation for the efforts of the labourers, more than 70 employees and members of the management team braved the summer heat and volunteered their time to help serve food to thousands of blue collar workers.
Titled, 'Embracing the Spirit of Giving', the initiative is in line with Dubai Properties' sustained efforts to support the UAE's Year of Giving that aims to enable less privileged communities through charitable efforts and acts of kindness.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdulla Lahej, Group CEO of Dubai Properties, said: "Dubai Properties is pleased to lead this noble initiative. Aligned to the leadership's Year of Giving initiative, we consider this a gesture of our gratitude and an essential part of our corporate responsibility. We salute the workers whose efforts have played a significant role in the development of Dubai and the wider UAE."
