Dubai to Host Art Fair Next Year

dubai — An important international Art Fair will be held in Dubai in February next year. It will be organised by Haughton International Fairs, the internationally acclaimed art fair organisers along with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing .

The event was held earlier as Dubai art fair.

Haughton International Fairs has rebranded the event as ‘Art Antiques Design Dubai’ which is scheduled to run from February 18 to February 23,2009 at the Madinat Arena, Madinat Jumeirah.

“The overwhelming success of the inaugural fair reaffirms the growing interest and sophistication across the region to collect and study fine art and antiques,” said Brian Haughton, of Haughton International Fairs.

‘Art Antiques Design Dubai’ will include Islamic works of art; arms and armour; silver; antique and modern jewellery; a broad range of furniture and decorative arts; and fine art, including Middle Eastern, Indian, and Western paintings, drawings, and sculpture.
