Organised by East Coast Vijayan, in association with Asianet Radio and Television, it is the first joint venture between the two. The Dubai show is scheduled for October 2 at Al Nasr Leisureland.

Conceived as the live show version of the chart-topping East Coast musical album series f+iMidad, which has given a new dimension to f+iMappillapattu, the new East Coast-Asianet entertainer will line up some of the young and charming mini screen artistes.

A harmonious blend of traditional and modern style, f+iMidad songs became an instant hit among the fans of folk music. f+iMidad Sandhya will bring to the Gulf a new breed of celebrity singers and artistes - Radhika, Sarika, Ramya Savitha, Sarath, Rajeev, etc.

A 10-member female troupe, led by Jumba sisters from Calicut, will be presenting Opana, film-based dances, Duff Muttu, Kolkalipattu, etc. Vocals for the show will be provided by Rehana, Afsal (f+iRakshasi fame) and Nasnin (f+iJumailath fame).

Also on the stage will be a young voice from Dubai - Dipin Isaac - who has won the 'Kalapratibha' title four times in various UAE inter-school youth festivals. Dipin's introduction to the entertainment circuit is in line with East Coast's mission of promoting promising talents.

The 50-member troupe will have yet another sensation - Malayalam's most sought-after ghazal singer Umbayee and his team. Umbayee's f+iGhazalmala and f+iOru Mugham Mathram are among the chart-topping audio albums released by East Coast.

Adding a hilarious touch to the three-hour show will be Harisree Martin, Jayaraj (Karunakaran), Rajeev Kalamassery (Antony), Anoop and Subi (Filmi Thamasa).

Scripted and directed by East Coast Vijayan, the show marks his re-entry into the Gulf entertainment circuit after a four-year gap. The event also coincides with the 10th anniversary of Asianet Channel and its launch of Asianet Gulf.
