Directed by Paul Danby, the play opens with Robert (Chris Price) wandering the streets of Leicester at 4am without the slightest clue as to how he got there. A policeman (Richard Nutter) tries to dig deeper into his past but with no avail and the more he digs, the more confused he gets. With the arrival of Julia (Amanda Hennessy), who is Robert's wife, the plot gets thicker with a lot of twists and turns. Total amnesia, a bruised head and a suspicious policeman for company, perhaps Robert is not what he seems.

Speaking to Khaleej Times about the play, Phillipe Duquenoy, Producer of Streetwise Fringe theatre, said: "The play revolves around four characters and is very well-written. All the actors have travelled from England, especially for the play, and Dubai is the first place where it is being staged."

Playing for three nights in Dubai (March 9,10 and 11), the production will then move on to Abu Dhabi for a single night. Describing the play as a "thinker's comedy", Richard who plays the policeman in it, said that it was an extremely tough journey for all the actors involved with it as it presents a different style of theatre.

"It took us only four days to rehearse for the play but it was really intense as it's not a kitchen sink drama and involves comedy which has a lot of physicality in it. It involves a lot of words and the emphasis is on the storyline more than anything else," he said.

Tickets are priced at Dh100 for the Dubai performance and Dh95 for the Abu Dhabi show and can be booked by calling 050- 6526920, Crowne Plaza Hotel at 04- 3311111 or through www.streetwisefringe.com
