Dubai zone finalises scheme for private school exams

DUBAI - Dubai educational zone has evolved a mechanism for the final examination in private schools and has chosen Dubai National School (Al Tawar branch) as a centre for holding the exams.

The zone has entrusted to Al Khaleej National Printing the task of publishing the Islamic religious text for grade 12 for non-Arabic speakers.

International school in Nad Al Sheba area will be in charge of printing the instructions for grade 11 while Al Garhood International School will print for grade 10.

Dubai National School has also been given the responsibility of printing the Arabic language examination paper for grade 12 for expatriate schools.

Al Itihad School (Al Mamzar branch) will be printing for grade 11 while grade 10 printing will be done at Al Mawakeb School.

Rashida Badri, Deputy of Dubai Educational District for Private Education, said that inspection department would pay a visit to the schools, which have been assigned the printing responsibility on March 30.

She said schools will receive the question paper on April 7 and examinations should be conducted by April 17.

She said Dubai National School would prepare the list of students who will appear in equivalent exams and who didn't sit for the exams in the three subjects.

These students will take their exams in the Dubai National School.

Rashid Badri said Al Mawkeb School will be the examination centre for Arabs and foreign students and for those affiliated to the American board of examination.

She added that the Dubai National School would be given the task of printing Islamic religious instructions for the students of grade 12 American Board.

On the other hand, Al Khaleej National School will have the responsibility to print the common examination for grade 11 for American board schools.
