As part of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), Ibn Battuta Mall is running a new 'Eat & Play' promotion offering special offers at participating malls to young foodies.
The dining promotion will run at SOY, Yo Sushi, and Paul's Café, three restaurants located at the mall, until July 16, and then run at participating restaurants in Mall of the Emirates from July 21-23, and City Centre Mirdif from July 28-30.
The participating restaurants at Mall of the Emirates are Azkadenya, California Pizza Kitchen, Yo Sushi, and Butcher Shop & Grill, while the City Centre Mirdif restaurants taking part in this promotion are California Pizza Kitchen, Yo Sushi, Panda Express, Rosa Mexicano, Butcher Shop & Grill, Carluccio's, Zafraan, Max Burger, and Paul's Café.
The 'Eat & Play' promotion gives a complimentary entertainment experience to families who dine at participating restaurants. Customers spending a minimum of Dh50 at participating restaurants get a 'reward' voucher to be used for one child aged between 2-12 years at entertainment centres in the same mall, during the following week.
On the Gruffalo Trail
In Dubai Mall, the iconic children's book, The Gruffalo, came to life during an interactive journey set in the deep forest.
The Gruffalo Adventure, which runs at the mall's Star Atrium until July 17, gives visitors the opportunity to go on The Gruffalo Trail and also meet up with the monster during daily Meet-and-Greet.
In the Gruffalo Trail, fans can follow the souvenir map to collect clues to find the elusive Gruffalo- a monster-like creature that part grizzly bear and part buffalo, from the celebrated book by Julia Donaldson.
Once all clues are collected along the trail, visitors can indulge in a themed arts and crafts activity in The Gruffalo Wood. Readings from the book are held every day alongside arts and crafts activities.
The Gruffalo is one of the main attractions of DSS 2016.
