Dubai: Eid Al Adha holidays for employees of federal government ministries and departments will be from Friday, October 3, 2014, to Monday, October 6, 2014, according to a circular issued on Thursday by Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Director-General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
Work for all ministries and departments will resume on Tuesday, October 7.
The Eid Al Adha holidays for private sector employees will be from Friday, October 3, 2014 to Sunday, October 5, 2014 with work resuming on Monday, October 6, according to a circular issued by Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour.
Al Hammadi and Ghobash greeted the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the emirates, and the people of the UAE and Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion.
