Eid holidays for public, private sectors announced

Eid Al Adha holidays for the Ministries and federal institutions will start from Thursday (Arafat Waqfa Day), October 25 and end on Sunday, October 28.

The work will officially resume on Monday, October 29, according to the circular issued by Humaid Al Qatami, Minister of Education in his capacity as Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

Al Qatami congratulated the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, on the occasion.

He also greeted UAE people, Arab and Muslim nations on the occasion.

Holidays for private sector

Eid-al-Adha holidays for the private sector will begin on Thursday 25^th October that falls on the Arafat Day and will end on Saturday 27^th October, the second day of Eid.

The announcement of the paid holidays came in a ministerial circular issued by Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash.

Ghobash offered Eid-al-Adha greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, the government, people and residents of UAE, and the Arabs and Muslims across the world.
