The largest recorded human flag depicting the UAE National Flag was created by 600 employees of Emirates Palace representing over 50 nationalities in the run up to this special occasion with unique National Day greetings in all languages to record the celebration. Catch the video performance running both on the Emirates Palace website and on the numerous large plasma screens on display at the Emirates Palace from Nov 30th.

An exclusive exhibition runs from 30th November in the Emirates Palace Dome, including a 38 tiered National Day Cake, a display of 38 types of dates exhibit, exclusive public showing of a painting by Van Merbeck of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and an authentic traditional Bedouin Tent.

From 2nd Dec for one week from sunset to midnight, Emirates Palace will dramatically light up the night sky with a uniquely designed and orchestrated laser show including sky beam and flying elements to delight all.

On National Day Dec 2nd, Emirates Palace will provide the Worlds largest pyrotechnics display and achieve the Guinness World Record that will dazzle the world to highlight, recognize and honor the achievements of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and to showcase the City of Abu Dhabi and all its glorious vision to the world audience. The entire skyline of Abu Dhabi will be alight with displays up to 2000 metres high providing a firework extravaganza to inspire beyond belief. The spectacular show starts at 8.30 pm . Three barges will be located at the Emirates Palace Marina Bay and five alongside the West Corniche Road with synchronised music, the performance will last 45 minutes. A further four locations opposite ADNEC, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Marina Bateen and Beach Palace Al Salam Street, for a 20 minute display so ensuring the entire capitol city’s residents may enjoy the performance.

Guests at the Emirates Palace will enjoy traditional UAE cuisine buffet at Le Vendome Restaurant from 1st to 3rd December and handcrafted UAE National Day Chocolates in every guest room. To celebrate the UAE history, culture and achievements a special DVD will run in every Emirates Palace limousine and Ayalah will perform daily in Le Caf to celebrate the nation’s musical traditions.
