DUBAI AND ABU DHABI — The met office at the Dubai International Airport has predicted a clear and good weather during the Eid holidays.
The met office has ruled out any chance of rain, storm and high humidity in the coming few days.
According to the duty forecaster at the met office, sunny conditions with less humidity, are expected in the coming days with an average maximum temperature of 36C and a minimum of 25C.
‘There is no chance of rain or storm. The skies will be clear,’ said the forecaster.
Beachgoers can enjoy absolutely good conditions with no strong winds that can possibly cause high tide, the forecaster said.
‘People planning excursions to the mountainous areas in the UAE like Fujairah and Al Ain can also relish the comfortable weather,’ the forecaster added.
The maximum temperature recorded at the met office yesterday was a maximum of 37C and a minimum of 27C. Similar temperature levels are expected in the coming days with a minimum humidity level of 10 per cent and a maximum of 40 per cent.
According to the Abu Dhabi meteorological department, the weather on the Eid Al Fitr day will be pleasant as the mercury is expected to dip.
For the next five days, the maximum temperature is expected to hover between 35C and 37C, and the minimum between 12C and 18C, Salama Hashshad, a senior forecaster at Abu Dhabi met department said yesterday.
The maximum humidity level in the city is forecast between 80 and 90 per cent.
Salama said, ‘There is no fear to venture out into the desert. But he cautioned people against going more than 15km inside the sea. ‘The on shore water waves will be between one and three feet and off-shore water waves between three and five feet.’
