The unit will accelerate the process of identifying and dealing with problems resulting from nervous system electrical discharges and ensure high accuracy in treatment.

The epilepsy monitoring unit would enable the doctor to monitor the patient for several days (three to seven days) and provide detailed information on the nature and location of the brain’s abnormal discharges causing the seizures.

During his stay at the unit the patient will be observed by a trained technician or a nurse. A family member can stay as attendant to the patient.
