Eritrea President visits AUS

He was accompanied by His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the AUS. The Eritrean President praised Shaikh Sultan's efforts in establishing a world-class institution of higher learning in the region. He also applauded the quality of education provided by AUS and the state-of-the-art facilities available to students on campus. Winfred Thompson, AUS Chancellor, also briefed the visiting dignitary on the university.
