Etisalat introduces higher IP Connect speeds

DUBAI -- Enterprises in the UAE can now significantly benefit from the faster connectivity speeds, being introduced by Etisalat for its IP Connect service.

Effective fromMonday, Etisalat will be offering higher access speed of 10Gbps, the fastest speeds available for IP MPLS in the region today, and port and class of service (COS) speeds of 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 10GB on its IP MPLS network.

Responding to the steadily increasing demands for higher bandwidth, Etisalat has introduced four new high speed brackets of 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 10GB to provide a complete range of port interface speeds to its business customers. Enterprises will now be able to enjoy unparalleled scalability and simpler communication management with this offering.

The IP Connect service is offered over Etisalat’s secure MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) network and offers customers the flexibility of direct inter-branch communication rather than branch to head office only. The service also allows dedicated performance to different types of traffic on the customers private network be it voice, video and data applications, by which businesses can prioritize voice and video over data transmission.
