Factory fire in Jebel Ali kills one, injures 3

The accident occurred at 4.30pm when all the four were busy in their work. Two of the workers sustained moderate injuries, while one got away with minor bruises.

The person believed to be dead, is from Kerala. He has been identified as Dineshan.

Two of the three injured workers are also from Kerala.

The injured were rushed to the Jebel Ali Clinic and then to the emergency unit of Rashid Hospital. Police said that the injured were battling with their lives till late last night.

The Managing Director of the Al Dabawi company, Surinder Kandhari, said that none of the owners, or management staff, was present at the site at the time of the accident.
