A police complaint was registered on Sunday against Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui by a woman residing in his housing society alleging that the actor pushed her and behaved inappropriately during a dispute over parking space.
Heena Sheikh, 24-year-old daughter of Soni Dandekar, the chairperson of the Zohra Aghadi Nagar housing society at Yari Road, filed the complaint at the Versova police station saying she was manhandled by Nawazuddin's bodyguards.
"I have been living here since 1994 and he shifted here just a year back and he has captured the parking slot," Dandekar told IANS.
"We sent him many notices and even told him 'you are the flat owner, but this outside property is not yours', but he never acknowledged our complaints."
"Today, when my daughter went to click photographs of the parking slot captured by Nawazuddin, he along with his brother and support staff manhandled her and pushed her. So we immediately went to the police station to file a complaint against him," she said.
