FNC hails constitutional amendments

Opening the second session of the third ordinary season in the 14^th legislative chapter, the Speaker, Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, said the FNC hopes that the amendments represent a solid step in the gradual and carefully studied march to develop the parliamentary system and the process of political participation.

The amendments to the country’s Constitution were endorsed by the UAE Supreme Council at its meeting chaired by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on December 2 this year.
