Four locals get jail for assault

FUJAIRAH — The Court of Fujairah sentenced four locals, Mohamad Salem, Ali Mattar, Abdulrahman Abdullah, and Hareb Mohamad, to 25 years in jail each, for kidnapping a counter-terrorism soldier and sodomising him.

The four defenders kidnapped the victim by forcing him into the car and taking him to an apartment.

Then they took turns in sexually assaulting him. On a tip-off, the police rushed to the place and arrested one of the suspects, who informed them about the others, leading to their arrest. The four were charged with kidnapping and sodomy and transferred to the court, which sentenced each to 25 years in prison.
