Free entry for kids at Al Ain zoo during Eid

Al Ain Zoo, one of the region’s largest animal parks, has opened its doors with free entry for children under 12 and extended visiting hours during the Eid holidays.

According to a statement from the zoo management, between October 26 and 28 there will be no entry fee for children under 12, when accompanied by an adult, to enjoy the Eid special action-packed entertainment from 10am to 10pm.

The special Eid programmes include cultural performances set to begin each day at noon, and then to be repeated at 3pm, 6pm and 8pm.

The entertainment programmes include an African dance, a group of Indian dances, the traditional Dabka and ending with a performance of the UAE’s national Harbiya. An exciting fire dance performance will also take place every hour from 7.30pm onwards everyday. The zoo will also host eagle and falcon presentations, bird and parrot shows and photo opportunities with parrots.
