The Fujairah civil defence has urged the public to follow safety instructions during times of rain.

The civil defence added on its official Instagram account that the public should never risk their lives by trying to cross the valleys when it's raining, to avoid dangerous floods.

In case of emergencies or for more information, the Fujairah civil defense can be contacted on 999 or 997.
