Fujairah: The Fujairah Municipality has started its activities celebrating the 43rd UAE National Day.

The municipality has finished the installation of lights, decorations, congratulation boards, and flags in major and internal streets in the emirate and neighbourhoods in preparation for the fete, as directed by Director-General of the Fujairah Municipality, Mohammad Saif Al Afkham.

The municipality held first of its celebrations at its Al Tuween branch on Thursday. It will hold another function at Al Aqeer branch on Gadfah Corniche today, and a family festival will be held at Fujairah City Centre on November 30, while the main celebration will be held at the Fujairah Corniche on December 1.

"A series of events, activities and programmes are being carried out in the emirate to observe National Day,” said Saeed Mahboub, Head of the Public Relations Section at the municipality.
