Making a quick trip along the eastern coast of UAE, Khaleej Times found that most of the schools located there have inflammable wooden classrooms with just a few of them built with cement.
The number of 'wooden' schools in Al Badiya are 14, Zeid bin Al Khatab 12, Al Noman bin Makran 12, Rumaithaa Al Ansariah in Masafi 10, Zubaidah bint Jafar 10, Almarefa located in Dhadna 9, Lubna bint Habab located in Dhaba 9, Al Muthana bint Haretha located in Marbah 8 and Fatema bint Otba 8. There are other schools, which contain one to four wooden classrooms.
