Galadari Automobiles: Revving ahead with new SUV launch

Galadari Automobiles, one of the top distributors of Mazda in the region, is optimistic about overcoming challenges and looks forward to launching an all-new compact SUV in July this year. Excerpts from an interview with Axel Dreyer, Chief Executive Officer, Automotive Division, Galadari Brothers:

Mazda's presence in the UAE 
Reiterating that the relationship between Galadari Automobiles and Mazda is five decades old, CEO Dreyer adds that Galadari Automobiles is one of the top Mazda distributors in the Middle East with seven showrooms and eight service centres across UAE. 
"We achieved a continuous growth in market share and volume in the last three years, and have been awarded from Mazda for our remarkable achievement. However, the current situation is a very challenging one for the entire automotive business in UAE and we have to be agile in our plans and optimistic at the same time," he states.

Galadari Automobiles is also launching an all-new compact SUV that will again set a new benchmark in its class.
Ensuring business continuity

Asserting the UAE's role in extending the best efforts across the nation, Dreyer maintained that the country has always been in the forefront to take up any challenge put forth. "We are thankful to the government authorities and frontliners in putting their best efforts to bring the situation to normality. We have ensured that all our facilities including the showrooms and service centres are disinfected regularly.

"We were the first automotive company that has used 'Stabilised Aqueous Ozone' (SAO) to sanitise customers, test-drives, showrooms and new cars. We also offered pick and drop service for our service customers."

From a business operation perspective, Dreyer continues to say that the customers are offered test-drives of Mazda cars at their preferred location, which is disinfected after every test drive. "We ensure every customer and employee entering our facilities comply with the health guidelines issued by local authorities."
Comeback strategy

As the businesses roll up their sleeves and gear up for a comeback, Galadari Automobiles is providing attractive offers including 'Lease to Own' for its clients. Dreyer says, "We are optimistic that gradually the business will come back. But of course, for us the health of our staff and customers is paramount and we remain operating under strong hygienic procedures. We are very excited to launch soon our new e-commerce platform where customers can select their dream Mazda and proceed with a booking.
