Harvard Medical School Seminar on Neonatal Care Today

DUBAI — Harvard Medical School Dubai Center (HMSDC) Institute for Postgraduate Education and Research will hold a continuing medical education (CME) course on obstetrics and neonatal care at the Grand Hyatt Hotel today (Oct 9).

The programme aims to support obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, internal and general medicine physicians as well as medical students and nurses, to inform them on the latest advances in the field. Dr William R Camann, Director of the Obstetric Anesthesia Service at Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston, and an Associate Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School will lead the programme.

The conference will consist of sessions on latest developments in obstetrics care, emergencies in neonatal delivery and neonatal care in cases of infections and requirement of respiratory support.The course is an intensive one-day event, comprising a variety of lectures, case studies and question-answer sessions.
