Hats off: Dubai World Cup Fashion

Let’s call it the world’s biggest catwalk. It was the ladies who stole the show at the Dubai World Cup exhibiting a bevy of extravagant hats, fierce pumps and designer dresses. They strolled into Meydan rocking fashions that would only make sense at the world’s richest horse race, dripping in diamonds and eager to show off their style sense. But it was the eclectic mix of fashion that got heads turning.

Some ladies opted for simple and chic, pairing dresses with vintage jewellery. Others, though, went all out with over-the-top hats that reached for the sky and new handbags to match. From housewives to lawyers, Saudis to South Africans, everyone made their presence known during the jam-packed day of star entertainment, decadent dinners and a social scene that brought together nearly every society girl across the UAE.
