The Dubai Taxi Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) held a workshop earlier this month to advise drivers on achieving excellenceat work.

“It is extremely important for drivers to maintain a broad sense of cleanliness, including spiritual virtue, modesty, discipline and courteous dealing with others,” said Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director of Resources and Support Department at RTA Dubai Taxi Agency.

“Drivers have to pay attention to their personal cleanliness, dress and refrain from throwing litter on roads or drivers routes.

“These aspects are very important for taxi drivers in Dubai since cleanliness is a key indicator of urbanisation and civility,” he added.

The drivers were also asked to refrain from practices that may cause them ill health, moral or economic harms, or may negatively impact their daily routines and the service delivered to passengers.news@khaleejtimes.com
