The Aquarium has a four course Iftar set menu for Dhs125 per person including juices. Guests can choose a selection of Arabian inspired mezzeh and mixed grills such as prawn skewers, king fish served with saffron rice, lamb kofta and a selection of Arabic sweets. Every fifth guest dines for free and the offer is valid for groups of up to 40 people.
The fully air conditioned QD’s Ramadan Tent is putting on a feast of traditional dishes and beverages for Dhs120 per person and Dhs60 for children under 12.
Every Friday throughout the Holy Month, M’s at the Emirates Golf Club will host a special Iftar buffet with live cooking stations featuring traditional lamb Ouzi and shawarma along with a large selection of international and Arabic main courses, salads and desserts. The package is available for Dhs120 per person including Ramadan juices such as Jalab, Laban and Qamar al Din. Diners get a 10 per cent discount for groups of 10 to 15 and 20 per cent for groups of 15 and above.

What: Malfouf
Serves : Six
Preparation: 25 minutes
1. Cut each cabbage leaf into several triangular pieces.
2. Dip leaves a few at a time in boiling salted water. Prepare stuffing of meat, rice, tomato, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
3. Place tablespoons of stuffing on each triangular leaf, fold sides toward centre and roll up from bottom into a cigar shape. Press together firmly. Place layer of meat bones to form a rack at the bottom of a pressure cooker. Add two whole garlic cloves.
4. Place cabbage rolls in layers over the bones. Add water, lemon juice and sprinkle more salt.
5. Cook for 20 minutes.
6. Open cooker; sprinkle cloves crushed with dried mint and salt.
7. Simmer for a minute and add lemon juice and salt to taste.
To serve: Place the rolls on a platter and pour over the remaining juice.
