SHARJAH — The body of a 22-year-old Indian labourer, who worked in a Sharjah free zone contracting company, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the company’s car parking lot on Friday evening. The deceased was identified as Amir S.

A passerby, who noticed the body, had alerted the police.

According to the police, Amir’s colleagues said that he was a normal person who did not seem to be under any psychological or financial pressure in the recent past.

Investigations were on to ascertain the cause of death.
