Home to Burj Khalifa and the soon to be launched Dubai Opera house, Downtown Dubai is set to open doors to a new luxury hotel this year.
Emaar properties' new Address Boulevard Hotel will have 72 floors and will stand at a height of 368 metres. It will also be the 33rd tallest building in the world - the second tallest building in the neighbourhood, next only to Burj Khalifa and the sixth in Dubai.
At a first-preview of the property, Pascal Dupuis, general-manager of The Address Boulevard Dubai told Khaleej Times: "With this new property, we are bringing to life the impressive aesthetics of classic architecture in an urban resort that offers great connectivity to all key attractions in Dubai. The Address Boulevard Dubai will be as much a family destination as a choice for business travellers."
Once complete it will be a curvilinear structure that has been designed by the Dubai-based architects Norr Group.
The hotel is designed in way that the guest rooms open up to picturesque views of Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountain and the Arabian Sea. Work on the project, which also features their "Sky Collection", a series of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom serviced residences, is scheduled for completion later this year.
"The interior decor has been handpicked by us to make you feel like you're at home - it's going back to classics. It's well-lit and bright with wide corridors and old-school paneling chosen to give exactly that feel," Dupuis added.
Among the differentiating features of The Address Boulevard Dubai are the rich lifestyle amenities it offers for guests. The Spa at The Address Boulevard Dubai, set on a dedicated floor over an area of 700sqm, provides guests with luxurious therapies and skin care treatments.
However, its most spectacular view is reserved for The Roof Top, located on the 70th and 71st floors. This dining experience will offer a unique 360 degree view of Dubai to its patrons. On a clear day you will be able to see as far the Dubai Marina and Burj Al Arab, the world islands to a beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa and the Deira Islands.
It is scheduled to open in the later half of 2016.
