Islamic study centre hailed

DUBAI — Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy, on Saturday praised the role of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies in enriching and encouraging dialogue between the Islamic and Western cultures.

Shaikha Lubna was visiting the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies after participating in an international conference on “Women of the Arab World.” The minister expressed hope that the Centre’s new building would be completed soon. The Centre’s new premises include a mosque in the new building named after the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
