'It still feels like a dream': Dh5 million Big Ticket winner

Abu Dhabi - Thokachichu was announced the winner of Dh5 million at the Big Ticket Draw held today at the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Krishnam Raju Thokachichu, 37, is still pinching himself in disbelief. The Indian expat from Telangana says he still surprised his Big Ticket number 021051 has got him richer by Dh5 million.
Thokachichu was announced the winner of Dh5 million at the Big Ticket Draw held today at the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

"It still feels like a dream; like I am day dreaming about becoming a millionaire," Thokachichu who works as a Detailing Checker at a Construction company in Ras Al Khaimah, told Khaleej Times.
"I was at work when I got the call from the Big Ticket office. I did not believe it first. I went and checked their website and it was not updated at that time. I waited for another half an hour before I told anybody. It was only when I saw the tweet announcing my name as the winner, I really could believe it," said an elated Thokachichu. he has been working in the UAE since last nine years.
So what is he going to do with all the millions?
"I really don't know. I am still drowning in excitement. I will discuss with my mother and wife and decide the next move. But the first thing to clear some financial issues that I have back home, and invest in the future of my four year old son, Sai," said Thokachichu who is married to Nagasirisha.
Today, he said, is party time as all his colleagues are over the moon and asking him to give them a treat. "We all regularly buy Big Ticket, sometimes by pooling in money or individually. This is my seventh time, and I got lucky."
"It was an eventful day for the draw as all the Big 10 Millionaires from series 181 draw were present to help pick our lucky winners," the Big Ticket said in a statement.
A total of 15 winners were announced today.
