President Kalam's visit to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where he is scheduled to hold discussions with the President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, besides addressing a joint Indo-UAE partnership summit and meeting a number of senior officials, aims at further boosting the Indo-UAE relations.

His visit to the Indian educational institutions which comprises an interactive session with around 1,500 Indian children representing some 50-odd Indian schools in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, will see the president sharing his knowledge and experiences on education and civilisation.

"The interaction with Indian children will be a significant part of his itinerary of formal meetings with UAE officials in Dubai on October 20," an Indian embassy official in Abu Dhabi said.

He told Khaleej Times yesterday that the president would also meet officials of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and visit Gitex 2003 at the Dubai International Convention Centre while in Dubai, prior to his departure to Khartoum in Sudan.
