Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and director Vikas Bahl are in Dubai to promote their new film Queen that is due release in March.

Kangana came to the office of Khaleej Times to promote their movie.

“Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra… they all called me and told me that they want to see the film. I do not remember any of my promos or my movies getting reaction like this from the industry. Somewhere we all want the good movies to do well because that is good for our cinema,” said lead actress Kangana Ranaut.

Director Vikas Bahl who has co-directed Chillar Party (2011) before added: “It’s a film about life not going as per plans. How especially in India we, probably at the age of ten, decide how we are going to live the next 60-70 years of our life. When you plan life that meticulously and it doesn’t go accordingly, then what happens? This happens to be a girl’s story but it could be anyone’s story. It’s a sad story but told in a funny way. This is a coming of age and discovering yourself kind of a film”

This film is a story about a girl called Rani (played by Kangana Ranaut) who goes on her honeymoon without her spouse.

After the visit to our office, the actress headed towards 4thGadoya Holdings GR8 Women Awards 2014 Middle East, at Sofitel The Palm, Dubai, where she was honoured for achievements in her field.

Entire interview with Kangana Ranaut and Vikas Bahl will soon appear on City Times.
