The foundation focussed on people with limited resources in various emirates and distributed food for Iftar through a well -organised network.
The project is mainly financed by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and has the support from General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the foundation, Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan follows up the charity drive at the national level, Mohammed Haji Al khouri, executive director of the foundation, said.
The foundation has set up 88 Iftar centres across various emirates and is distributing over 40,000 meals everyday through these centres.
