Khalifa Foundation distributes aid to 12,500 Syrian refugees in Lebanon

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Lebanon has launched a new relief campaign for the displaced Syrian refugees.

A team from the foundation has distributed assistance which includes dates, blankets and children’s winter clothes among 500 families, comprising 12,500 people in the poorest areas in Beqaa Valley.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE’s leadership, government and people, lauding the Khalifa Foundation for supporting and alleviating the sufferings of the Syrian refugees.

They wished permanent health for the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
