RIYADH — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid courtesy calls on His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, and His Highness Shaikh Sabbah Al Jaber Al Sabbah, the Amir of Kuwait, at their residences in Riyadh yesterday.
He exchanged views on the agenda of the 27th GCC summit with the Qatari and Kuwaiti leaders.
The three leaders also reviewed bilateral ties as well as a host of current regional and international issues.
Later, Shaikh Khalifa paid a courtesy visit to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at his residence at Dariya Place.
The two leaders exchanged views on the agenda of the GCC summit. Shaikh Khalifa and King Hamad also reviewed bilateral ties as well as latest regional and international events.
Earlier in the day, Shaikh Khalifa left Abu Dhabi for Riyadh to join other GCC leaders at the two-day 27th summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Saudi capital.
Shaikh Khalifa was seen off by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu DhabiCrown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.
