Abu Dhabi - President H.H. Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued emiri decree number 8 of year 2010 on appointment of judges and public prosecutors.
According to the first article of the decree, three judges of cassation court, 16 judges of appeal court and 16 judges of first instance court have been appointed at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), while the second article named two public prosecution chairmen and five senior prosecutors.
The UAE President also issued emiri decree number 9 of year 2010, appointing a number of assistant judges and public prosecutors.
In its first article, the decree appointed five UAE nationals as assistant judges at the ADJD in grade five, while the second article named five UAE nationals as public prosecutors in grade five.
The two decrees are effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the official gazette.
