A total of 550 workers in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah benefited from the awareness lectures provided by the Police Education Section at the Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General Directorate of the Community Protection and Crime Prevention, the Ministry of Interior.
First Lieutenant Ali Hassan Al Hammadi gave an overview of the Law Respect Culture Bureau, the goals it strives to achieve, and its important role in enhancing legal awareness amongst workers, and acquainting them with their rights and duties towards the job and the host country.
He also highlighted the most common violations committed by workers, their seriousness and related penalties.
Moreover, he noted that the laws and legislations in the country have been enacted to organise the legal rights and obligations of individuals in way that provides them with a safe life.
