Ingredients
Lamb, cubed 200 gm
Pita bread 6 pc
Chickpea 400 gm
Salt and pepper to taste
Yoghurt, plain 300 gm
Tahina 150 gm
Garlic 3 clove
Cumin powder 5 gm
Lemon juice 7 ml
Pine nuts 15 gm
Ghee 75 ml
Olive oil 10 ml
Parsley 10 gm
Method
Soak chickpeas overnight and cook.
Cut pita bread into evenly sized cubes and deep-fry until crispy.
Mix yoghurt with tahina, salt, garlic, cumin and lemon juice.
Warm the chickpeas and combine with the tahina mix and pita bread. Keep the mixture warm in a bowl.
Sauté the lamb cubes with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Once cooked, place the lamb cubes on top of the warm fatteh mixture.
Heat the ghee in a pan then add on top of the lamb and fatteh mixture.
Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve.
