Lectures on Islam at Pakistan club

DUBAI - Mrs Hafsa Ahmed, a graduate of Pakistan-based Al Huda International Institute of Islamic Studies for Women, will conduct lectures for ladies on Islam at the Pakistan Sports and Recreation Club in Dubai daily from 10am to 12 during the holy month of Ramadan.

The lectures are titled Fahm-ul-Quran (understanding Holy Quran).

English translation and short Tafseer (explanation) of one Juz (part) of Holy Quran will be taught each day. Bus service is available. For details call Mr Idrees at 050-700000 or the club at 04-3373632.

Mrs Ahmed has worked under the supervision of Dr Farhat Hashemi, Ph.D. in Islamic Studies and M.A. in Arabic and founder and chairperson of the institute, since graduating in 2000. Dr Hashemi conducted the course in Dubai last Ramadan in Urdu which was well attended.
