Tianjin Pipe Corp (Middle East) Ltd
Tianjin Pipe Corp (Middle East) Ltd (TPCO) is the market leader when it comes to Pipes. As one of the largest seamless pipe manufacturers in the world, TPCOME - Co-founded in 1997 - specialises in distributing and marketing carbon steel seamless pipes. It primarily deals with the Oil and Gas sector, but has a firm grip on the market in other sectors as well. TPCO's presence in Jafza provides it with the cutting-edge to do business in the UAE and the region beyond it. It has a 15,000-square-metre yard facility in Jafza Dubai, and stocks more than 15,000 tonnes of products at any given point ?of time.
"Apart from OCTG & Line Pipes we also supply boiler tubes, cylinder pipes, hydraulic support pipes and structural pipes," says Abdullah Jan Sabri, Managing Director, TPCO, Middle East.
The company was the first to introduce state-of-the-art technology in pipe-rolling, steel-making, pipe finishing and direct reduction iron with perfect automatic systems, from raw material to finish products, TPCO has a name and fame of its own. This is why it also became the first Chinese manufacturer to be approved by Saudi Aramco.
With dozens of international accreditations to its credit, TPCO has an independently functioning in-house quality control, quality assurance department and in-house testing laboratory, which is certified by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service).
It has recently built a new seamless steel pipe manufacturing facility in Gregory, Texas, by investing more than $1 billion on a 253-acre site, which makes its presence global.
Sabri is all praise for the visionary leadership of the UAE, and believes that the success of TPCO has a lot to do with its presence in Jafza. With its Middle East regional office in Dubai, TPCO supplies hundreds of millions of dollars worth of products to some of the major oil companies and other industries, and commercial enterprises, in the region.
"I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the visionary leadership of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ?for all that we have accomplished," ?he observed.
Sabri says, our presence in Jafza for the last 25 years has helped us achieve several milestones and our growth has significantly increased accordingly.
TPCO has several rolling plants. Among them Premium Quality Finishing (PQF) is the most advanced technology in SMLS pipe industry, and TPCO masters in it. The company believes in research and development, and has immensely invested in it. It also has one of the most advanced in-house laboratories, which illustrates its uncompromising commitment towards quality control and perfection.
TPCO's articulate and enterprising Managing Director is the brain behind the company's success and growth. Sabri believes in taking on new challenges, and there is nothing that is impossible for him. This is why, he says, "We look ahead to continue in our roles as a major supplier to the oil and gas industry in the UAE." The Gulf region is the lifeline for businesses related to the energy sector, and TPCO ?is there with a resounding presence in ?the region.
