Hussein, producer of the movie, said the movie will be released in India on July 5 and it will be released in UAE in the first week of August.
A major part of the movie was filmed in Dubai a month ago.
According to script writer Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram, who has been living in Dubai for the past two years, the movie portrays the common man’s life in Dubai. “This is the first time, a movie has been completely dedicated to low-income expatriates in Dubai,” Iqbal said.
“We tried to include all the aspects of low-income expatriates’ lives. We are introducing a Chinese expatriate as a heroine. This movie will be quite different from others,” he added.
He pointed out that many families in India do not have any idea how their near and dear ones live in Gulf countries. “This is an attempt to show them the lifestyle of the common man. For families who live in India, working in Gulf means that the person is in heaven. But it is far from reality as most of the low-income expatriates are working hard to support their families back home,” he said.
This movie, he said, would be an eye-opener for families of those who are working in the Gulf.
