The Abu Dhabi Police air wing transferred an injured Emirati man from Fujairah Hospital to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) after he suffered serious injuries in a road accident.
Abu Dhabi Police said on Tuesday that they received an information about an injured 28-year-old man from the command and control room at the central operations division.
The victim was initially going to be transported to a hospital in Fujairah. But considering his deteriorating condition, the Emirati man had to be immediately airlifted to Sheikh Khalifa Media City in Abu Dhabi.
"The Abu Dhabi Police carries out a number of specialised humanitarian and community tasks, including ambulance services, search and rescue, aerial photography and road monitoring, while using state-of-the-art equipment to rescue and assist people in need."
