Dubai Fitness Challenge

Launched in 2017, the month-long initiative encourages residents to transform their sedentary lifestyles into a healthy one with at least 30 minutes of activity a day. It involves citywide community events.
A beast race dedicated to gathering true warriors that takes place around November and December every year. Residents train in advance to overcome various challenges to walk home with medals for bragging rights.
Hosted at the beginning of the year, the marathon may be divided into corporate and team challenges, but participation is open to all ages. It attracts residents from all fitness levels for a chance to win prizes.
The series features professional cyclists from around the globe compete against one another by setting the best time record in cross-country courses. The UAE Tour held this year was the second edition, and the third race of the 2020 UCI World Tour.
Dubai World Cup
One of the most prestigious of the year and among the richest in the world, the Dubai World Cup is a celebration of thoroughbreds, their captivating beauty and skills, as well as the citizens and residents that add to the city's unique status.
A long-standing event, the Dubai Tennis Championships has nestled itself in the city since 1993, and seen the world's greatest players, such as Roger Federer and Venus Williams, on the playing field.
Held in Abu Dhabi, the UAE's capital city, the event focuses on promoting positive social change for people of determination and create a more inclusive society.
The UAE hosts its own citywide observance on June 21. Renowned yogis host community gatherings and parks are filled with enthusiasts and their families eager for a dose of mindfulness in their lives.
