Ibrahim Rashid, Director of HAI’s office in West Bank, said HAI has contracted Palestinian restaurants and establishments that are close to Al Aqsa Mosque to prepare the Ramadan meals so as to create jobs in the city.

Rashid noted the agency’s interest in providing meals for worshippers is based on the importance of Al Aqsa Mosque for the leadership and people of UAE and all Muslims.

The head of the Islamic Awqaf in Jerusalem, Sheikh Azzam Al-Tamimi, praised the UAE charities for supporting Palestinians, in the holy city in particular.
