Actress Sruthi Hariharan is the latest leading lady in the south Indian film industry to join the #MeToo campaign.
She has accused co-star Arjun Sarja of misbehaving with her on the sets of Vismaya a year ago.
Sarja appeared before the investigating officers in connection with the registered case and was asked at least 50 questions during the interrogation.
Talking to Sudha magazine, the actress revealed that she was shocked by his behaviour. The incident took place while the duo was rehearsing for a romantic scene.

South has alleged that Arjun pulled her close, hugged her and ran his hand up and down her back.
"I was aghast. I am all for depicting realism in cinema but this felt wrong. The director sensed my discomfort and he said that these additions were not required for the scene. I was shaken and I remember telling the direction department that I would not come for any more rehearsals with the actor," she told Deccan Herald.
Actor Arjun Sarja said he will take legal action against the actress.
"I am not scared of the allegations, instead I was shocked. She should have opened up on the day the alleged incident happened. Won't it look like a drama to keep quiet all these days and rake up the issue all of sudden?" he questioned.
