Milad Al Nabi celebrations at Grand Mosque tomorrow

The function will be organised by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Auqaf (GAIAA) as part of the countrywide celebrations that will begin after Isha prayer, said GAIAA Director Dr Mohammed Matter Al Ka’abi. A number of Muslim scholars, including Dr Mohamed Al Booti, Dr Farooq Hamada and Shaikh Al Habib Ali Al Jafri will give talks on the qualities and life of the Prophet (PBUH), he said.

The Authority will distribute posters and bulletins on Milad Al Nabi with the aim of enhancing the knowledge on the calibre of the great Prophet, he said, adding that efforts should be made to curb the misconceptions about Islam and Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
