ABU DHABI — Two Arab women were killed in road accidents in the country on Tuesday.
According to a report from the Technical Investigation Section at the Civil Defence General Secretariat, a Saudi woman identified as H.S.A. was killed in a traffic accident at Marfa-Abu Dhabi road in the Western Region. The victim was accompanying her husband when their car suddenly overturned.
According to civil defence, the woman died on the spot, while her husband F.A., who was driving the vehicle, sustained moderate injures and was rushed to Al Marfa Hospital.
An Egyptian woman met her fate when her car collided with another vehicle in Sharjah. The woman's daughter and the driver of the other car were injured and shifted to the nearest health institution for treatment, said civil defence.
In a third road mishap that involved two cars, an Indian national known as K.M. was hurt.
